Performed by the Vox Camerata Chamber Singers (2020), this recording was enacted in accordance with the advisories laid out by the government.

This recording is the second part to Tallis’ Lamentation. This recording of Tallis’ Lamentation was done in the times of COVID-19. The government’s safe-distancing measures protected us, but also prevented choirs from coming together to sing. These measures started easing up in the later part of 2020, but we are still restricted to 5 Singers being allowed to sing at the same time.
This song resonates with us as it not only expresses the sadness from what we lost to the pandemic, but also a better hope for the future.
