Performed live during Musica Intimae: Soulful Soundscapes (2016) at Chamber, The Arts House

Translating to “Two Three Cats Are Running”, this song uses cats as symbols of love and affection, and tells the tale of a young lad who seeks only the affections of his one true love despite being surrounded by many options. Written for women’s voices, the song brings out the playful affection of the cats roaming in the streets, and weaves the melody through the chase. Tonight’s little ditty is dedicated to the choir’s long time friend and supporter, local musician and choral conductor Benedict Goh.
