Lim Jun Wei

Hi all, I’m Jun Wei. I’m 26 years old and am currently working as a policy analyst for the accountancy/audit sector.

I was first introduced to proper singing when I was in secondary school when I joined the school choir. I continued on, joining the Singapore Youth Choir around the end of secondary school, and continued singing with SYC and my JC choir. Although I stopped singing around midway into NS (due to constant schedule clashes with my NS commitments), I started singing again in NUS with the varsity a cappella group (NUS Resonance). There, I had numerous opportunities to arrange pop/mainstream songs into a cappella versions for the group’s myriad gigs. Since graduation last year, I have not done much singing, and now relish such opportunities 🙂

In my free time, I catch up with friends, enjoy some gaming (I’ve recently gotten very much into chess) and of course, listen to music. I am somewhat obsessed specifically with the subgenre of music called progressive metal, which I find very fulfilling from a musically technical standpoint. I’m always down for a good chat over coffee or drinks.
