A lone traveller dreams of coming home to the comforting sounds of the waves. This Finnish folk song begins with a hauntingly simple melody, progressing into its thick convoluted texture from the floor of his memories, pouring into the recesses of his mind. At the end of the nostalgic road, a descant line soars and ebbs like the crashing of the waves; an echo of the sounds that float from the desolate Finnish shores.
