Sean Foo is a choral conductor, music arranger, and vocalist. Sean discovered his love for the art form whilst conducting as a student conductor growing up under the guidance of Mr Chong Wai Lun, Mr Albert Tay and Mr Foong Hak Lun. Believing in the potential that resides in every singer, Sean’s pedagogy and instruction revolves around the core philosophy of uncovering said talent. He demands excellence from his choristers. Through that process, he believes in the nurturing of young voices. Having studied English Literature in NUS, Sean finds that the disciplines of music and literature are intricately woven together. He hopes to find the artistry between them through experimentation and growth. Currently, Sean is fascinated with a cappella music, as well as discovering other methods to inspire a love of music. Understanding the need to consistently learn from others much wiser than him, Sean is pursuing his ATCL in voice under the guidance of Mr Thomas Kuek, and is learning Conducting under Dr Maria Theresa Vizconde Roldan. He also sings in The Vocal Consort under the direction of Mr Nelson Kwei
